How to Measure

For collars and harnesses, measure loosely around neck and girth area with a string or flexible tape measure. If your measurement is close to the upper end of a size, we recommend purchasing the next size up.

To find which size you need by breed, please refer to the size chart by breed here. Please note that this chart is for reference only. The best way to find the proper size is to get an actual measurement! While we do offer suggestions as to which width may be best, it is ultimately up to you to determine which width is best for your dog. If you feel unsure about your selection, please feel free to contact us and we will help you pick the perfect size.

Compare Widths

We offer collars in 4 versatile width options: 1" (big dogs), 3/4" (medium dogs), 1/2" (toy dogs small), and 3/8" (toy dogs xsmall and cats). See the image right for a side by side comparison.

Construction Information

All pet collars and harnesses are made with durable nylon webbing and strong plastic nylon buckles. While our collars are very durable, it is important that you periodically check the collar for signs of wear. We cannot guarantee our products against excessive pulling, chewing, or scratching. Each consumer is responsible for determining the suitability of these products for their individual situation. Consumer accepts all responsibility by purchasing and using these products.

Our cat collars are made with safety release buckles. These breakaway buckles should NEVER be used with a leash. Non-breakaway buckles are available for cat collars upon request. For use with a leash, we recommend purchasing the toy dog collars, as they come with a d-ring suitable for a leash. Don't worry - if you still want a bell - just ask! We'll be happy to include one.

Collar Care

Pets like to get messy (well, most of them anyways!), and their collars are bound to get dirty. To clean a collar or leash, handwash in cold water with a mild detergent. Lay flat to dry. While we do try to choose lasting designs, these are decorative collars. If you want a collar that will last you 10 years, you should not buy a decorative collar. Some printed designs (such as the printed polka dots) may fade with time. Some woven designs (daisy, stitch, and autumn burst cat collars, and tape measure, skull, and flame dog collars) may fray if exposed to excessive scratching. If you find that the webbing of your collar begins to fray, simply run it over an open flame to melt the flyaways back into place.
