Just Added! Over two dozen brand new collar designs to celebrate the coming of spring. We’ve got styles for toy dogs, new cat collars galore, plus designs for big dogs and mid-size dogs as well.

It’s the invasion of the critters – you won’t be able to resist our new frogs, ladybugs, and bumblebee collars for toy dogs and cats (and even one for the big boys too)! These just may be our best new designs yet.

After a long and busy holiday season (for which we are extremely grateful and thankful to our wonderful customers), we deserve a break. And so we’re taking a winter vacation, getting out of the abnormally cold temperatures in Tennessee and headed to sunny (we hope) California.

As a result, orders placed this week (anytime after January 11th) will be processed and shipped after our return on January 21st. By that time we hope to have completely thawed and be ready and raring to go. We greatly appreciate your patience and understanding.

If you’re in the South, you’re probably chilled just like we are. Boy, has it been cold! If we enjoyed these kinds of temperatures we would have stayed in the snowy mountains of Colorado where we grew up… this is exactly why we left. Hopefully it will be short lived and we’ll return to our normal cold but not frigid temperatures soon. Although, I do have to say, that as native Colorado-ians used to feet of snow, we get a kick out of the fact that this minuscule amount of snow canceled school for 3 days. THREE days. Growing up, it had to snow a good foot before they’d even consider canceling school one day.

Apparently Kitty isn’t too keen on the snow either. She was curious of the mysterious white dusting on our porch after the storm rolled through last week. So we let her out to explore. She didn’t last more than a few seconds. Probably didn’t expect it to be quite so cold on her toes.

As of January 4th, USPS has changed their rates, yet again. While this is something we cannot avoid and must reflect in our own shipping rates, we always strive to keep our rates as affordable as possible. We see no point in paying $9 in shipping for an $11 cat collar and don’t think you do either.

Rest assured that all of our postage is based on actual weight, with a very minimal handling charge to cover basic shipping supplies. Customers located farther away from our Nashville, TN location will see the biggest change, as the new rates are more dependent on location instead of just weight. However, to help offset the increased rates, we have reduced this handling charge even further. You can be confident you are not overpaying for shipping.

Christmas is over, which means one thing – time for a sale! For four days only, we’ve marked our popular holiday cat and dog collars a whopping 20% off! It’s time for another installment of What’s New at Pattern & Paw! This time, we’re pleased to introduce a handful of new designs that are sure to tickle your fancy. We’ve had many requests for some more ‘masculine’ styles (yes, we love pink and we love polka dots, and for that we will never apologize!) but we think these new styles fit the bill just perfectly. Nashvillians! Come visit Pattern & Paw this weekend at Billups’ Art Dog Days of Summer event in East Nashville, a celebration of all things dog.

The event will take place at Billups Art, 1008-c Woodland St, Nashville, TN 37206 (get directions). Admission is free and a portion of all proceeds will benefit East Can Community Action Network and Nashville Paw.
