The Accidental Cat Bed
Thursday, March 26th, 2009
We’re doing a bit of redecorating in our bedroom. One project involved re-finishing two side tables. One was meant to be a side table and was a reasonable height, but the other was originally a telephone stand of sorts, a good 12″ taller than the other. Not practical at all for a bedside table. Rather than buying a new one, we thought, why not just chop this one down to size?
So we did.
Who knew that the result would be a usable bedside table AND a cat bed?

The piece we cut off turned out to be perfectly kitty sized. With the remnants of the legs it looks like a miniature four-poster bed. Add one sheepskin cat mat and you have one happy kitty.
